What size halibut do you catch?

The statistical weight of a charter caught halibut in Homer, Alaska is between 20 and 25 pounds. The average private recreational caught fish is slightly smaller. Some days the smallest fish kept is larger than the average. Other days, an average 22 pound fish looks nice.

 

Should I take sea-sick medicine?

Unless you are very sure you do not have a problem with motion sickness...yes. If you are asking this question, you should probably take something.

 

What can I take to overcome sea sickness?

Am I allowed to bring my own food and drinks?

Yes, Bring as much as you like...no alcohol or Bananas!

 

Who cleans the fish?

We do. We will gladly clean and bag the fish that were caught on the day of your charter.
